On the morning of 17 June, following a monitoring service in the interchange car parks at the railway and bus stations, the Carabinieri of the NORM of Aprilia went to the car park in front of the Campoleone railway station, due to the presence of two subjects who were they walked around suspiciously, intent on tinkering with a bicycle in a clear attempt to take possession of it.
The two subjects, upon seeing the soldiers, tried to escape in an attempt to cover their tracks, but the soldiers promptly stopped the two fugitives and subjected them to a personal search.
This in-depth analysis made it possible to find, on both, instruments intended for opening or forcing locks as well as objects suitable for offending.
The material found consisting of iron bars, knives, lock picks and screwdrivers were reported and subjected to seizure.
The two offenders were reported in a state of freedom, reporting both to the competent AG for unjustified possession of lock picks and illegal carrying of weapons and illegal carrying of objects capable of offending.
