Luca Innocenzi returns and Cassero returns to victory. The ‘Cannibal’, returning from a year of absence due to Daspo, presents the La Sfida carousel to the district with the crenellated tower. For Innocenzi it is the eleventh success at the Campo de Li Giochi, the sixteenth for the district led by Fabio Serafini.
A magical evening for Foligno and the many fans. The Campo de Li Giochi was sold out and saw, in addition to the many institutions, also the presence of the Pooh singer Dodi Battaglia.
At the third round of the joust only Giotti, Spada and Cassero remain to compete for the Palio di Mirabella. Riccardo Raponi, Giotti’s Animoso, loses the first ring and finishes in third place with the Quintana with a time of 55”28 for 2’45”73. Then there is Tommaso Finestra dello Spada with Romantic Walk who concludes the third round without errors: 54”88 for a total of 2’44”31. Closing was by Luca Innocenzi riding Otherwise, a debuting horse, with times of 55”17 and 2’43”57.
In 2023 the Rione Giotti with Massimo Gubbini on Daytona Man excelled in the Challenge while in September, in La Rivincita, it was Spada’s turn with Tommaso Finestra on Romantic Walk.
