VELLETRI – GOLDEN AUGUSTUS AWARDING CEREMONY

Saturday 22 June at 6.00 pm in the “Marcello De Rossi” Hall of the “Juana Romani” Exhibition Center

AWARDING CEREMONY OF THE GOLDEN AUGUSTUS FOR THE EXCELLENCE OF THE TERRITORY

Due to the numerous concomitant initiatives in the city, the inauguration of the exhibition has been postponed to Sunday 23 June “Vibrations between heaven and earth” curated by the critic Lucrezia Rubini at the Chiesa della Coroncina

On Saturday 22 June, at 6.00 pm in the Marcello De Rossi Hall of the Juana Romani Exhibition Centre, the eagerly awaited award ceremony of the Augusto d’oro for local excellence will be held, a recognition instituted this year by the Luigi Magni and Lucia Museum Foundation Mirisola to enhance the action in the various work and social fields of those citizens who have brought prestige to the territory.

After the publication of the five lists made up of an internal evaluation, which took place last 8 June, the names of the winners will be known, the change in time and location of the event initially scheduled to the Church of the Coroncina is dictated by the fact of the numerous concomitant initiatives in concentrated cities largely along the axis of Corso della Repubblica, for the same reason the inauguration of the exhibition “Vibrations between heaven and earth” curated by the art critic Lucrezia Rubini which sees the participation of artists from much of the territory and from our city scheduled at Coroncina at 8.30 pm on June 22nd has been postponed to Sunday June 23rd at 6.30 pm.

On this occasion we want to thank Domus Maxima srl, owner of the former Church, for wanting to make it available, allowing the city to reclaim a space abandoned for too long, at the same time we want to thank Sandro Spallotta, Fabio Cavallo and his collaborators for arrangement to make the space safe and usable.

A special thank you goes to Councilor Faliero Comandini and Councilor Paolo Felci who, together with Mayor Ascanio Cascella, ensured all the logistical support for the event which, in addition to the Coroncina, will also involve part of Largo Mons. Giuseppe Centra.

We look forward to seeing you every weekend from 7.00pm to 12.00am to enjoy the summer coolness and experience a truly evocative space.
