He was called Valentin Branovitchihe was only 29 years old and was a mechanic from Turinthe motorcyclist who lost his life in a terrible head-on collision this morning in Little houses.
Branovitchi, of Moldovan origins, this morning shortly after 10 was walking along the state road 24 of Montgenevre riding his Honda Cbr. He was probably one of the many motorcyclists who wanted to take advantage of one of the rare beautiful sunny days of this period, especially on Sunday, for a nice trip to Val di Susa. Unfortunately, however, the day of celebration for him turned into tragedy once he arrived in Caselette, while he was traveling along the state road which in that stretch takes the name of Susa course.
According to initial investigations, the motorcyclist, riding a Honda CBRwould have collided head-on with one Renault Captur. At the origin of the accident there would be a risky overtaking of one of the two drivers, probably the motorcyclist himself, although the reconstruction of the dynamics will require the necessary investigations by the police who will proceed on the basis of the findings carried out on site and the testimonies. What is certain is that the clash was devastatingenough to push the car off the road.
Unfortunately for the Turin mechanic there was nothing that could be done. All attempts at resuscitation were useless, the doctors had nothing left to do but confirm his death.
