VITERBO – Attilio Lupidi appointed new secretary of the CNA of Viterbo and Civitavecchia. “I am honored to be the new secretary of an association like the CNA, which for almost 70 years has represented the world and the values of small and medium-sized enterprises” declared Attilio Lupidi, appointed territorial secretary after having carried out, in the last year, the role of deputy secretary. Lupidi succeeds Luigia Melaragni, who received the position in 2010.
“After a long shared journey, made up of intense work and numerous satisfactions, we calmly accepted Luigia’s proposal to encourage turnover within our organization” – said the president Alessio Gismondi. “Luigia will not leave the Association, but she will take on new roles. You will take care of the activities on the coastal territories, in particular on Civitavecchia, with the aim of expanding our membership base, thanks to your precious work. Luigia will continue to be an integral part of our team.”
The territorial management, after having taken note of Melaragni’s decision, unanimously voted on the proposal formulated by the president. Lupidi, 47 years old, has worked at CNA since 2000 and has held various roles, including branch manager in Tarquinia from 2001 to 2011 and managing director of Upav Servizi since 2014, a company in the CNA system.
This is how Luigia Melaragni, who led the association for 14 years, spoke: “It was a privilege to represent such a strong association rooted in the territory. I send my best wishes to Attilio with whom our system will continue to grow. I will remain alongside the CNA with my enthusiasm and with new initiatives, because I firmly believe in the value of our work.”
In his inauguration speech, Lupidi expressed gratitude towards Melaragni: “By taking over from Luigia, I am aware that I am taking on a complex and challenging legacy. His sense of belonging and attachment to the association are visible and recognized by all.”
Lupidi then expressed his pride for the role he received: “The CNA is the first employers’ association in the province of Viterbo in numerical terms. I am also proud of the esteem and consideration that our association receives from local institutions and entrepreneurs.”
Aware of the future challenges, Lupidi underlined the importance of the role of the CNA in an era of great complexity: “We live in
a historical era with numerous instabilities that can affect entrepreneurial activities. Our role, that of the intermediate bodies, is
fundamental in the representation of the widespread and collective interests of companies”.
Lupidi outlined his main objectives: “We must be present in the territories, establish solid relationships with all the bearers of
interest and increase the foundations built by the CNA. In the next few days, together with the presidency, we will better define the program objectives
for the next few months.”
Finally, he expressed respect for his colleagues: “I know that I will be able to count on the contribution of all my CNA colleagues, who with their dedication and
professionalism represent the soul of our association.” With 2,763 associated companies, the CNA of Viterbo and Civitavecchia does
confirms a dynamic reality ready to face future challenges under the leadership of Attilio Lupidi.
