“Mom and dad help me grow!”. This is the title of the series of short stories published by Diana Cardenas Perez. She is of Cuban origin and Cesena by adoption, she is 40 years old and has been in Italy for 18 and, after a career as a professional dancer, for a few years now she has found a new passion in writing. What you have just published is your debut with writing for children.

«They are stories – says the author – that boys and girls will be able to appreciate before going to bed, but at the same time they are also small manuals with questions and teachings. The aim is in fact to offer children and parents tools and resources that help them: for children to recognize that their priority is to grow well, in health and harmony, with love, dedication, attention, education, time and, above all, lots of patience; for mothers and fathers, there are reflections that perhaps will allow them to recognize and accept that the perfect parent is a utopia. We are not born with a parenting manual, but we can improve and correct some of our behaviors through example and loving education.”

Diana Cardenaz Perez is already the author of several books, including “The Art of Meditating”, the most successful one: «A few years ago, after a period in which I struggled to find my way, I realized that I like helping people to feel good, to find their well-being. I started writing books and recently enrolled in Psychology.”

On the children’s book, which he presented for the first time as part of the “Soccorso literaryo” reading promotion project in Cesenatico, he says: «For some time I have wanted to write a book for children, a different book, without losing given the orientation towards well-being. My daughter’s support in the creation of these works was fundamental. Children’s imagination, their creativity and the magic they transmit are a precious gift to be valued and cherished. The dream is that one day she will be the one to continue the series and add stories.”

The book is on sale on Amazon.
