On the occasion of the presentation to the press of Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup which will take place in Milan from 21 to 23 June and the program “Paris 2024” with which the Lombardy Region will contribute to the modernization of some important sports complexes dedicated to gymnastics, in the presence of the president of the Italian Gymnastics Federation Gherardo Tecchi and the undersecretary for sport and youth of the Lombardy Region Lara Magonithe renewed collaboration of Auxologico with the Italian Gymnastics Federation.
Auxologico will be “shirt sponsor” of the competitive national teams and his name will therefore appear on all the official competition uniforms of the athletes of the FGI national teams.
This is thanks to the new collaboration agreement between FGI and Auxologico which will see Auxologico involved in the training of the Federation’s technicians and managers regarding the issue of eating disorders; in the clinical-assistance management, together with the national “Food for mind” network, of any situations that may arise and in the development of research protocols on the topic.
The President of Auxologico, Mario Colombohighlighted how “It is a great privilege for our clinicians and researchers to make their skills available for sport and for young people. Sport is not just prevention and health, it is a fundamental component in the training and human growth of our young people, at all levels, in amateur practice and also in competitive sports. Eating disorders are growing among our young people: this is why sport, like our entire society, must deal with this phenomenon in a clinically and scientifically adequate way.”.
