PESCARA. Not just the stab wound last week outside the nightclub attached to the Ferry which injured an eighteen-year-old who underwent emergency surgery in Pescara hospital. Episodes of violence in the nightlife areas of Pescara are now the order of the day. On the same night as the attack on the Ferry, there had been another argument with a knife, in a nearby establishment, again between very young people, but fortunately without any particular consequences. An alarm that has been going on for months, and for which in mid-May just under a month ago the father of another sixteen-year-old who was attacked and punched for trivial reasons and ended up in hospital was the spokesperson. “Four beatings in the same evening”, reported the parent after spending the night in hospital with his sixteen-year-old son, “if we don’t do something, at this rate we risk carnage”. In his case, his son was queuing in front of an establishment on the northern coast, waiting to enter the nightclub, when, for having asked his friend who was already inside how long it was until he got in, he was blocked from behind by a boy. . “You’re talking too loud,” the 16-year-old was accused of doing, before two others hit him with a series of punches on the face, leaving him bleeding on the ground.
