Excursions and fairs

Knappenfest is the event, organized by the Pro Loco of Faedo and Giovo with their respective Municipalities, which celebrates, on the occasion of Palazzi Aperti, the inauguration of the suggestive “Canopi” Mining Path.

Theater and concerts

The work of arranging the songs chosen by Marco Carta and Denise Gueye aims to tell the “Stories of Yesterday” of the characters to whom De Andrè gave a name and a face. The tribute concert to Fabrizio De Andrè.

In the splendid setting of the San Pietro Theater in Mezzolombardo, an exciting dance performance entitled “Ballet in four acts” will take place on Saturday 15th at 8pm and Sunday 16th at 6pm which will certainly move the audience present.

Exhibitions

The exhibition “Quanto – The revolution in a leap” continues, the exhibition at the Muse in Trento dedicated to quantum mechanics and its revolutionary impact. Organized by the same science museum and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Infn), the exhibition will be open to the public from 7 December 2023 until 15 June 2024 and is divided into a journey of five stages, from the macroscopic world to the cosmos and the manifestations of quantum mechanics.

The Orantis Imago contemporary art exhibition continues with twentieth-century works in the collections of the Tridentine diocesan museum. The museum’s contemporary art collection includes over two thousand eight hundred works including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and ex libris, created mainly by Trentino artists in the period between the beginning of the nineteenth century and the present day. The most conspicuous nucleus of the collection is due to the passion and commitment shown by Monsignor Giovanni Battista Fedrizzi, director of the museum in the 1940s and 1950s.

“From the earth the future. Journey through the 150 years of the Edmund Mach Foundation” is the title of the exhibition at the SAS underground archaeological space, in Piazza Cesare Battisti, in Trento, which started last January and continues until next September. The initiative is part of the series of events dedicated to the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Foundation organized by the Committee chaired by Professor Attilio Scienza, which will culminate on 28 September with the final ceremony.

Sports and outdoor activities

Eight races scheduled, all in the province of Trento, starting on Sunday 19 May in Val Rendena and closing on 29 September in Val di Sole. After the positive experiences of past years, Trentino Mtb Kids, a racing circuit, returns in 2024 of mountain biking reserved for athletes in the very young category (7-12 years) registered with clubs affiliated with the Trento Committee of the Federciclismo.

Two wheels have long found their “place in the sun” in the Trentino valley, home again this year to the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in the traditional setting of Daolasa. From 13 to 16 June 2024, four days of entertainment and adrenaline at the highest levels, evolutions and feats that will remain imprinted over the years.
