A 50 year old from Lecce it’s over in jail on charges of aggravated and continuous sexual violence towards some students that he would have solicited and groped.
At least they are four the episodes alleged against the man, one of which would concern a girl who is still a minor.
The precautionary custody order in prison, carried out by carabinieri of the provincial command of Lecce, was issued by the investigating judge of the Lecce court at the request of the local prosecutor’s office.
According to information acquired by the military, the 50-year-old approached the girls with various pretexts and then he would have them forced to suffer groping. Actions that man would have managed to complete with violence acting “rapidly – underlines a note from the provincial Carabinieri command – and unpredictable”.
In one case, he allegedly approached a girl on the street following her to her home and despite the young woman’s dissent, he first hugged her, then kissed her and finally tried to take off her shirt. However, the student managed to free herself before the situation escalated.
In other circumstances, the man would have approached the students and addressed them compliments and then grope them.
On one occasion he would have acted near a school harassing one underage.
In addition to the testimonies of the victims, the technical investigations on the victims were decisive video surveillance footage from cameras present in the affected areas. The military was thus able to reconstruct in detail the identikit of the alleged serial molester.
