The former Turin player has already managed both Venezia and Empoli in Serie A and has now accepted the role of the yellow-blue club
After the separation from Marco Baroni, which came at the end of a season in which Hellas Verona managed to achieve the goal of salvation, the Gialloblù team needed to find a new coach. The choice of the La Scala management fell on Paolo Zanetti who has already coached Venezia and Empoli in Serie A. The former midfielder, who also played for Torino in his career between 2007 and 2011, has signed a contract with Verona valid until 2025 with the option to extend it for a further year.

Hellas Verona FC announces that it has entrusted the technical management of the First Team to Paolo Zanetti, who has joined the yellow-blue club until 30 June 2025 with an option for a second year. Zanetti, 41 years old, originally from Valdagno, after two years in Lega Pro, on the bench of Südtirol, landed in Serie B with Venezia, with whom he obtained promotion to Serie A. After the Serie A season with the Venetians, he moved at Empoli with whom he achieved the goal of salvation in the 2022/2023 championship. Hellas Verona FC extends a warm welcome to Mister Paolo Zanetti and all the members of his staff and wishes him good luck in his work.
