Zoo padel in the Gold group and I Chiquiti in the Silver are the two winning teams of the 2023/24 edition of the Cuneo Padel Tour. The awards ceremony took place in Madonna dell’Olmo in the headquarters of the main sponsor I Goliardi. «In addition to the sponsor and the Municipality, we thank US Acli represented by Attilio Degioanni, who has renewed their trust in us also for the next season – explain Emmanuel Petenian, Daniele Racca and Stefano Cometto of PadelCnnect, creators and organizers -. We are very satisfied with the outcome of the second season and the feedback received from the participants which increased considerably.” Compared to the 20 teams of the inaugural edition, 32 teams were competing for 120 total athletes (compared to 80) and 352 matches (there were 296). The championship included a traveling formula with a first phase of four groups (called Gino, Lab Travel, Parola sport, Caf Cisl) and a second and decisive session. It was played on the Michelin Sport Club, Padel Vis, Officina del Padel, Nu(o)Vo, Cuneese Tennis&Padel, and Dopolavoro railway Cuneo courts.
In the Gold group, made up of the top four of each elimination group, the winners Zoo Padel preceded Caraglio Ricambi Imbimbovet and Los Picantes in the final ranking. Zoo Padel in 15 games played in the decisive phase scored 40 points with 268 games played and 128 conceded, difference 140; for Caraglio Ricambi Imbimbovet, 39 points, 266 games played, 156 conceded, difference 110; and for Los Picantes, 37 points, 253 scored, 140 conceded, 113 game difference. Followed in fourth place are Padelvis Cuneo (33 points; 241 games played, 164 conceded, game difference 77); Team Battilei (26 points; 214, 177, 37); AS Intomatics (25; 212, 206, 6); The Archangels (23; 214, 189, 25); Suma Padel Tor (21; 212, 217, minus 5); Officina Del Padel (20; 208, 224, minus 16); Big Mac (20; 194, 221, minus 27); Fissologru Padel Team (18; 190, 204, minus 14); Los Chavales (15; 191, 243, minus 52); Creative (15; 175, 235, minus 60); Checkers3 Padel (12; 154, 262, minus 108); Bar Peano (10; 166, 251, minus 85) and in sixteenth position Cuneo Centro Assicurazioni (5 points; 112 games played, 253 conceded, difference minus 141).
The Silver group was won by the I Chiquiti team which in the 15 matches played in the second phase ended with 40 points in the ranking, 249 games played, 95 conceded, 154 game difference; for the runners-up (Musso Pasticceria) 37 points, 253 games played, 90 conceded, difference 163; and for the third of Vis Padello, 35 points, 244 games played, 153 conceded, difference 91. In fourth place Padelisti by chance (33; 234, 153, 81), in fifth place Spadellatori Brutti (31; 239, 167, 72) .
