The works commissioned by the Province of Viterbo for the resurfacing of the SP Doganella have been completed
The institution has also installed a photovoltaic lighting system
VITERBO – The redevelopment project of the streets of Tuscia continues. In recent days, the works commissioned by the Province of Viterbo to resurface the asphalt along the SP Doganella have been completed.
This is an important intervention since the road in question, which connects the municipalities of Ischia di Castro and Montalto di Castro, is very busy on a daily basis. Specifically, the intervention – financed with a fund from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport – consisted of the resurfacing of various sections of the road for a total of approximately 4 completely redeveloped kilometres.
But not just resurfacing. In recent days, another intervention has been completed on the SP Doganella: the Province of Viterbo has in fact installed a photovoltaic lighting system at an intersection between the SP Doganella and the Muro del Sega municipal road, within the municipal territory of Ischia of Castro, in order to make the stretch safer especially during the night hours.
This last intervention was carried out with funding from the National Complementary Plan (PNC) intended for Internal Areas.
‘Overall, the two works just completed will make the transit of road users along the SP Doganella much safer – comments the President of the Province of Viterbo, Alessandro Romoli -. The improvement of the road network remains the priority of the provincial administration, which in this regard is investing huge resources both from the budget and from ministerial sources. A big thank you for the work done therefore goes to the provincial roads sector.
