Erjon Bogdani’s experience as head of Palermo’s youth sector comes to an end. The manager announced the news via social media, thanking “all those who have traveled this journey”.
Bogdani was linked to the now former Palermo sporting director, Leandro Rinaudo; both had their contracts not renewed. “Now that my experience in Palermo Calcio, as Youth Sector Manager, has come to an end, I feel the need to thank all those who have traveled this journey with me: my director Leandro Rinaudo, my boys, the coaches, the managers and medical staff,” writes Bogdani.
“They have been two wonderful years, full of satisfaction, growth and fully achieved objectives. I hope I have conveyed to many my passion and football expertise, my commitment and my way of seeing youth football. The Youth Sector is a delicate field in which the dream of football must be cultivated not by deceiving the kids that they have arrived or by promising them a certain future that does not exist, but by transmitting the sense of sacrifice, commitment and seriousness necessary within and outside the pitch. I wish my boys the best in the hope of hearing more about them,” she continues.
