We are talking about Piazza Muccioli, a historical glimpse next to Piazza Eroi and a stone’s throw from the Pigna, in the heart of Sanremo. For the construction of the nearby underground car park it was sacrificed to the stalls for two-wheeled vehicles, but for some time now it has been literally besieged by those who cannot find parking spaces, whether by motorbike or car.

The bags, as often happens in Via Martiri della Libertà, attract seagulls and mice who take the opportunity to feast in the face of those who live in the area and have to zigzag among them to get home. “Can the cameras placed above the ecopoint – continues Boeri – be used to target those who park recklessly or those who abandon rubbish?”
