La Bombonera Blu is the 2024 Regional Champion, amateur team championship organized by MSP Italia, a sports promotion body recognized by CONI.
The Chieti Club, in its third participation, won the regional title by winning against Magic Sport of Martinsicuro, at the end of a hard-fought final which ended with the mixed play-off. The two teams will represent the Abruzzo Region at the MSP Italia National Padel Final, scheduled from 12 to 14 July in Parma, together with the representatives of Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Sardinia, Sicily, Abruzzo, Molise, Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Tuscany, Marche and Campania.
They were two days of sport and fun with the 43 teams participating in the Abruzzo Club Cup, which after 5 months of qualifying matches in the 8 groups of the Provinces of Chieti, Pescara and Teramo competed in the finals in 5 tables (Elite Pro Master Amateur Fun.
The structures of Magister Village and Palapadel of Montesilvano, Bombonera and Padel Chieti of Chieti hosted the Regional Finals.
The first matches began at 9am last Saturday with balance dominating for most of the event as amply demonstrated by the many draws in the various elimination phases. A characteristic aspect of this day was the inclusion of the Silver scoreboard, that is, the teams eliminated in the first round of the two scoreboards competed in two mirror scoreboards until the Silver final.
Here are the results of the other categories. In the Elite Silver Scoreboard, Anxa Sport Village of Lanciano came first, with Padel & Fitness Rossa di Montenero di Bisaccia in second place
In the Pro Gold Scoreboard, success of the Martin Padel Gang of Martinsicuro, second place for Padel mania Pescara.
In the Pro Silver Scoreboard, first place went to Interamnia Sport Village from Teramo, second place went to Ancaria Raimbow from Ancarano.
In the Amateur Gold Scoreboard, first place for Rozu Lanciano, second place for Bombonera Nera.
In the Amateur Silver Scoreboard, victory for Pala Loca Bellante, second place for La Fenice.
In the Fun Gold scoreboard, first place went to Le Magnolie, second place to the Top Smash five of Pescara.
In the Fun silver scoreboard, victory was won by Padel Select one from Val di Sangro, second place went to Magister Samsung from Montesilvano.
In the Master Gold Scoreboard, Horama Tempesta from Teramo wins, second place goes to Bombonera Giallo from Chieti.
In the Master Silver Scoreboard, first place went to the Square set, second place to the black Padel & fitness.
The Abruzzo Club Cup was supported by the Regional Coni which with the president Enzo Imbastaro and the vice-president Alessandra Berghella renewed the precious contribution for the awards with 3 beautiful trophies.
