Luca Mastracci, renowned pizza chef, brings his pizza and his amazing fried food from the heart of Frosinone directly to the seaside of Latina, with the sound of the waves in the background.

To think that Luca Mastracci began his journey in the white art at just 19 years old, by chance, when he decided to try making pizza at home instead of his mother who was unable to obtain good results. He signed up for an amateur course and it was love at first dough, he understood that pizza was his path, his vocation. Shortly thereafter he transformed his passion into a real success, opening Pupillo Pura Pizza in Priverno in 2017, marking a different step in the panorama of Lazio pizza, imposing himself on the scene with the contemporary Neapolitan style, immediately followed by a second location in Frosinone.

In 2022, Velo Pizzaioli Popolari will raise the curtain, a format where the protagonist is the Roman round rolled partly by hand and finished with a rolling pin. Today, at 32 years old, Luca expands his openings on the Latina seafront with the Tintarella pizzeria, at the Hotel Tirreno, a summer spin-off where you can eat a good pizza by the sea. Approximately 200 seats in a dehors on the edge of the beach, where in the evening the young and fresh atmosphere of the 70s becomes magical.



At the bakery and at the counter is Alessio Cesarini, right-hand man of Luca Mastracci, a trusted collaborator for years.


Tintarella’s pizza

Luca Mastracci’s pizza has a thin disc and an important edge, the toppings are a real trip to the gardens of Priverno, Terracina, Frosinone and then Lazio in general, a riot of colors of fresh ingredients, where simplicity and Harmony rules the short food supply chain.

The menu of 20 pizzas mirrors that of Pupillo Pura Pizza, with a few fewer options and some new ones designed specifically for Tintarella, adapting to the location and the sea. The Parmigiana and Marinara Laziale are unmissable. The fried foods are amazing, a real experience, with the supplì that I can confidently say are the best I’ve ever tasted: compact, creamy and covered in a light breading that adds consistency. They are definitely worth the trip.





And so, between a slice of pizza and a sip of wine, Luca Mastracci, a point of reference for pizza in the Monti Lepini area, a young and talented signature of Lazio pizza, offers moments of pure pleasure and conviviality by the sea.
