Anticipation is growing, not only in the city. Twelve more territories have to decide. Unknown ballot in two municipalities

Here we are. Today and tomorrow, in thirteen municipalities in the area, citizens are called to the polls to renew councils and municipal councils. Today, voting takes place from 3pm to 11pm, tomorrow there will be time from 7am to 11pm. Priority will be given to the European elections for the counting, which will take place immediately after the polls close tomorrow, while the administrative elections will be on Monday, from 2pm. The possible run-off for the administrative elections in the capital, Ferrara, will be held on Sunday 23 June from 7am to 11pm and Monday 24 June from 7am to 3pm. Since Ferrara is a municipality with more than 15 thousand inhabitants , if no mayoral candidate obtains an absolute majority of voters in the first round, a run-off will take place between the two candidates with the most votes.

In addition to the capital, the other two municipalities where voting is held with more than 15 thousand inhabitants are Argenta and Copparo. In Ferrara, there are four challengers: the outgoing mayor Alan Fabbri (supported by the centre-right coalition), Fabio Anselmo (supported by the Pd, 5 Star Movement, Action + PRI, I Civici, Anselmo mayor list and United Left for Anselmo), Anna Zonari (La Comune and +Ferrara in Europa and Psi) and Daniele Botti (Ferrara Futura). In Argenta the outgoing mayor, Andrea Baldini (supported by the centre-left coalition), Gabriella Azzalli (supported by the centre-right coalition) and the civic candidate Laura Ferrua are competing. In Copparo, the challenge is between the outgoing centre-right mayor, Fabrizio Pagnoni, the centre-left exponent Enrico Bassi, and the two civic leaders Luca Fedozzi and Giovanni Mazzorana. Fiscaglia is a reality that presents two civic profiles: the outgoing mayor, Fabio Tosi and the competitor, Roberto Manzoli. The homeland of rice, Jolanda di Savoia, has three contenders: the former mayor Elisa Trombin, Gabriella Dellacecca and Giovanni Ferro. In Riva del Po, we have Francesco Robboni for the centre-right and the two civic members Alberto Astolfi and Daniela Simoni. In Lagosanto the outgoing mayor, Cristian Bertarelli, the centre-right candidate Gianluca Bonazza and Andrea Pambianchi (centre-left). At Masi Torello, the center-right has fielded Samuele Neri, while the competitor is Nicola Padovani. Ostellato presents four different candidate profiles. The outgoing mayor, Elena Rossi (centre-left), Antonio Ricci (centre-right), the citizen Rossano Forlani and the other citizen Michele Brancaleoni. Poggio Renatico, the outgoing mayor, Daniele Garuti (centre-right civic representative) and Francesca Bergami (centre-left civic representative) are competing. Voghiera will instead be contested by the outgoing mayor, Paolo Lupini and by his rival Stefano Lo Biundo. In Tresignana, the outgoing mayor Laura Perelli (centre-left) will have to face Mirko Perelli (centre-right) and Paola Marchi, a civic profile. Finally, in Mesola, the outgoing mayor and president of the Province, Gianni Michele Padovani (centre-left) will compete with Lisa Duò (centre-right).
