Gargano. A virtuous alliance in the name of environmental sustainability and the valorization of the beauty of the Gargano has been built between the Gargàra Fest and the Carta di Calenella which this year will hold the annual gathering coinciding with the event dedicated to live music, food and wine experiences authentic and guided tours in the most evocative places of Baia Calenella.
On June 22nd, starting from 11.00 in the lawn of the Calenella Tourist Village, the meeting will open with the presentation of the volume “Weavings of knowledge for integrated knowledge”. Scheduled speeches by: Andrea Pacilli (publisher); Salvatore Ritrovato, (literary critic); Teresa M. Rauzino, Michele Eugenio Di Carlo and Nello Biscotti (editors of the volume). To follow, the round table on “Future scenarios for the Calenella Charter?”
June 23rd will be dedicated to knowledge and guided tours.
At 11.00, again on the lawn of the Calenella Tourist Village, there will be a lecture on the “Coastal Towers of the Gargano”, by Teresa Maria Rauzino, followed by a guided tour of the Trabucco of Monte Pucci.
At 5.00 pm Nello Biscotti will first hold the lectio on “The necropolis of Monte Pucci” and then lead the participants on a guided tour of the same necropolis, where the medieval music concert performed by the Follorum Ensemble will then take place.
“Reuniting the knowledge and know-how that can and must characterize sustainable development in such a complex area as the Gargano is the objective of La Carta di Calenella – states Nello Biscotti, one of the promoters of the initiative launched in 2021 – and pursues it by promoting dialogue between the different components of the varied cultural world. With the second edition of Gargàra Fest we start a fruitful collaboration, basing it on the common commitment to include and network values and ideas that promote places and visions that are still marginal. Together we will trace new paths of sustainability and sharing.”
