Aversa, Toscano (Forza Azzurra): “Education, tourism and employment are a virtuous cycle of economic and social development”

“Education, tourism and employment are closely interconnected, forming a virtuous cycle of economic and social development”

Maria Letizia Toscanocandidate in the next Aversa municipal elections with Forza Azzurra for Matacena Mayorthus explains his concept of economic and social development.

“Education provides the skills needed to work in tourism, improving the quality of services offered and making destinations more attractive. Tourism creates job opportunities that stimulate the local economy and incentivize further investment in training. This positive cycle helps build prosperous and resilient communities, where tourism education and employment are mutually reinforcing.

The first step – adds Toscano – towards this future is the activation of professional training courses, carried out through collaboration with professional institutes, universities and training bodies. Our city is rich in artistic and cultural heritage, and we need qualified professionals to adequately enhance it. It would be important to activate targeted courses that prepare our young people to become experts in the field of cultural heritage conservation, cultural tourism and event management. In this way, we will not only enhance our local resources, but also create new job opportunities for our citizens.

The second step is to encourage the development of cultural associations. These associations – underlines the candidate – will be the fulcrum of innovative social projects, ranging from culture to music, from theater to food and wine, up to social tourism. The idea is to create an environment where ideas can flourish, supporting initiatives that bring life and dynamism to our city. The cultural associations will have the task of organizing events, festivals and demonstrations that attract not only the citizens of Aversa, but also visitors from outside, thus contributing to creating a rich and varied social fabric.

Finally, the third step is the valorization of our territory. This means building a more just, inclusive and prosperous working environment for everyone. Activate policies that encourage local entrepreneurship, with particular attention to small and medium-sized enterprises, and support initiatives that aim to make Aversa an attractive place for new investments. The aim is to create a vibrant local economy, which offers decent and fulfilling work opportunities for all our citizens.

All this – he concludes – to transform Aversa into a virtuous, educated, cultural and attractive city. We want every citizen to feel part of this transformation and to be able to actively contribute to the progress of our community. With professional training, the development of cultural associations and the valorisation of the territory, we can build a better future for everyone together”
