The mayor of Catanzaro Nicola Fiorita spoke on the appointment and addressed his congratulations to Maria Vittoria Marchianò.

“Dr. Marchianò – said the mayor – is one of our illustrious fellow citizens. She has lived here for years but, above all, it is here, in the district of our Court of Appeal, that, after having entered the judiciary at a very young age, she has spent a good part of her prestigious career also covering important top roles and always interpreting them with balance, spirit of service and self-sacrifice, thanks to his profound knowledge of law, associated with his humanistic education. All this has also allowed her to express a particular sensitivity towards important social issues, such as the women’s issue and an uncommon attention towards the younger generations”.

“For Catanzaro – concluded the mayor – his appointment as president of the VII commission of the CSM is therefore a source of satisfaction, in the certainty that his undisputed and recognized professional and human qualities will also contribute to characterizing the new, delicate and important assignment received, for which we extend our warmest wishes for good work.”
