Italposa Forlì had a week of great redemption thanks to the two victories achieved against Collecchio. In both matches, the Forlì team scored first and were never caught again. In game 1, after three balanced innings, Forlì took control in the fourth inning with a home run by Giacometti, followed by a double by Carlotta Onofri and a single by Spiotta, which brought the score to 3-0. Caronno responded by closing the gap to 3-2, but another home run by Onofri increased Forlì’s lead to 6-2. The match was then interrupted for over an hour due to rain, but upon returning to the field Forlì continued to dominate, scoring two more points thanks to a double by Noemi Cortesi and setting the final score at 8-2. Game-2 marked the last match in Italposa jersey for the American Barnhill, who greeted with an exceptional performance: 17 strike outs on 21 eliminations. Forlì immediately put pressure on the opposing defense, scoring the first point in the first inning thanks to an error by the Emilian catcher. In the second round, Forlì added two more points, and in the fifth a triple by Giacometti and a serve by Onofri brought the score to 5-0. With these victories, Forlì consolidates third place in the standings, waiting to return to the field on June 15th to face the Blue Girls Pianoro.
