At the moment, Martin’s teammate upon his arrival at Aprilia has not yet been announced, but Rivola has expressed his preference to keep Maverick Vinales. “I also consider Maverick an exceptional driver, and having a pair with both of them would be the strongest partnership in the championship, in my opinion,” he said. “However, you don’t always get what you want. Today we were presented with the opportunity to sign Martin, and we seized it quickly and decisively. It was the fastest contract in history.
