Saturday 8 June 2024, from 11.30am to 8.30pm, event – ​​Podere Santa Lucia:

tastings at outdoor tasting tables, in the beautiful park of the estate and in the shade of the majestic centuries-old trees.

PLAN

Podere Santa Lucia, Tossicia (TE) – Tasting of over 150 labels 100% made in Abruzzo.

The tasting stands will be arranged so as to ideally represent the shape of the region and organized and divided into the four main sub-areas of the territory: Colline Teramane, Colline Pescaresi, Terre di Chieti and Terre de L’Aquila. The gastronomic area will be located separately from the tasting tables.

MASTERCLASS

Three in-depth masterclasses will be organized on Saturday 8 June, to learn more specifically about Abruzzo wine production:

  • 12.00-13.30 approximately – Masterclass: “DOCG COLLINE TERAMANE: THE GREAT ABRUZZO IN THE GLASS”.

The Teramo hills, a treasure chest of biodiversity and terroirs suited to viticulture, give life to wines of undoubted value, enhanced in the significant DOCG Teramo Hills. Recognized in 2003the first and only DOCG in Abruzzorepresents a beacon of oenological excellence, which enhances the distinctive character of the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo created in this specific area.No photo description available.

Food and wine tasting aimed at creating a a marriage of excellence between gourmet dishes created with 0 km raw materials, territory and fine wines. A sensorial journey to be savored, in which 4 refined gastronomic portions will be served, created by the chef of the farm’s restaurant, combined with labels that best express the great quality of the region’s wine, with a particular focus on Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo, the versatile wine par excellence.

The Masterclass will be conducted by Saula Giusto, AIS sommelier since 2003, teacher of the European Sommelier School, Rome branch and owner of Roma Wine Experience.
