Second armored square, or almost, now the hunt for the first begins. In the Serie B softball championship, Asd Atoms’ Chieti not only wins but also convinces, returning with a double victory from the trip to Grosseto. Two deserved successes for the Teatine team (7-1 and 13-10) which consolidate second place in the rankings in the national cadet championship in reference to group G.

The outcome of the matches was decided by the excessive power in attack by the Atoms who finally returned to beating with conviction and continuity. The performance of the defense was also excellent, led in game 1 by the battery made up of Anna Salvatore and Giulia D’Aviero and in game 2 by D’Aviero herself, then replaced by Giorgia Di Santo and Micaela Capitanio, deployed in the unprecedented role of catcher. Seasonal debut at third base for the new acquisition Michela La Viola and at first base for Noemi Patera, both coming from Fovea Foggia.
