PESARO – Urban decoration, environmental sustainability and social inclusion. These are some of the objectives achieved thanks to the strengthening of the neighborhood roadman service put in place for Pesaro2024 by Marche Multiservizi with the aim of making the city more beautiful and cleaner in the year of the Capital of Culture and of encouraging the reintegration into work of disadvantaged people .
Urban decoration. In the year as Capital, the neighborhood roadmen, who work for the T41B social cooperative on behalf of MMS, have gone from four to eight and overall from the beginning of the year to today they have already carried out almost 5 thousand hours of activity (every day from Monday to Saturday). The 8 road inspectors carry out small cleaning and maintenance operations throughout the municipal area, from the historic center to the neighbourhoods, which contribute significantly to improving the urban decor and image of the city: from the collection of waste paper, dog excrement and butts of cigarettes abandoned on the ground, to the cleaning of waste bins, bins and computerized ecological islands, up to sweeping.
Social inclusion. T41B, which was awarded the management of the service, operates in the Pesaro Urbino area to provide employment opportunities to those excluded from the job market such as people disabled people, prisoners and ex-prisoners. And in this sense of the eight roadmen currently employed four are subjects considered fragile.
Environmental sustainability. An activity that is carried out in a sustainable manner thanks to the help of two electric vehicles that do not create air and noise pollution.
