Acting School of Calabria, Diploma Award Ceremony

Thursday 6 June at 9.00 pm, at the “Cinema-Teatro R. Gentile” in Cittanova the “Graduation delivery” ceremony of the Three-Year Academic Year 2021-2024 of the SRC directed by the actor Walter Cordopatri. This year the delicate topic of mental health was addressed, narrating some nuances of discomfort through cinema, theatre, dance and dance theatre.

During the course of the evening, the students of the school will be protagonists of different performances, with the aim of testifying, through the language of performing arts, the universe of mental illness and the stigma that is created around it .

here is the plan of the event:

• 9.00 pm THE LIFE SYNDROME
  Screening of the Diploma Short Film directed by Davide Carbone, with the participation of our Educational Coordinator Giorgio Colangeli.
• 9.30pm STIGMA
  Theatrical performance, directed by the founder and director of the SRC Walter Cordopatri.
  On stage, together with Giorgio Colangeli, the students of the SRC’s three-year academic course will perform.
• 10.00 pm TRIBUTE TO GRADUATES
  A tribute to the SRC graduates from all the students of the Labs and the Dance Course of our school, who will perform dance and dance theater choreographies, led by the teachers Floriana Agresta and Giovanni Gangemi.
• 10.20pm Diploma award ceremony.
• 10.40pm Finally, final greetings and thanks, institutional interventions from the national, regional and local authorities present and from the artistic excellences guests of the evening, together with everyone who supports our project.
