Bologna, 3 June 2024 – Five thousand euros for those who have a commercial activity that directly overlooks the route of the Red line of the tram, 4 thousand for those who have it in the area near the works and 10 thousand for those who present an aggregate project, which involves multiple entities.

It was published on first call (here is the form) for aid to the shops that are gasping under the tram construction site (which is about to arrive right in the center). The Municipality has put it on the table 150 thousand euros and “it adds to the other forms of support already in place – specifies the Administration – including the suspension of the fee for the occupation of public land and the 50% reduction of the waste tax”.
Who can apply for funds
All activities are eligible for the tender – explains the Municipality fixed location (neighborhood businesses), those for the supply of food and drinks, without excluding artisans and service providers.
What works do they finance?
Contributions can be used in retraining of rooms and furnishings or in the implementation of interventions to guarantee accessibility, safety, cleanliness and care of common outdoor areas. The funds can also be invested in entertainment initiatives and to create services for the benefit of customers and city users.
When to apply
Whether for a single or aggregate project, applications must be submitted by 11.59pm on 5 July 2024. The disbursement of the contribution cannot exceed 10 thousand euros per project for requests received in aggregate form, while for individual ones the ceiling is 5 thousand euros for those overlooking the route and 4 thousand euros for those based in the area wider impact (see attached map). In any case, for all those entitled to the loan granted noIt cannot exceed 90% of the expenses incurred and reported.
Contributions for outdoor areas
Furthermore, for bars and restaurants the partial refund, up to 2 thousand eurosof the expenses incurred for the removal or relocation of the dehors, which may be added to the financing recognized for the project presented individually.
