In Legnano eight events in the Library Park in via Cavourfrom July to September, for “BiblioNOTE”.
BiblioNOTE is a free summer musical and artistic festival aimed at young people and organized by the Civic Library of Legnano in collaboration with the #biblioGIOVANI group.
In these events, music, art, books and different cultural forms of aggregation coexist, with the aim of offering young people cultural evenings of leisure and to make the library live not only as a place of study but also of youth gathering, where you can network with others, creating a virtuous circle of relationships.
Represents a showcase for young local artists and musicians, an opportunity to perform in front of a large audience, receive advertising through social channels and the institutional portals of the Library and the Municipality of Legnano, paper advertising and the local press. An opportunity to network and find new jobs.
Participating means adhering to change: make an active and concrete contribution to a city also suitable for young people.

Who can participate
The call is open to young and emerging professionals who wish to
- play (performances of bands and musicians)
- exhibit (exhibitions of visual arts, photography, painting, sculpture, installations, site-specific, craftsmanship, etc)
- play (coordinate board game tables, chess, cards etc)
- chat (micro activities to teach foreign languages, example “English for travelling”)
- perform (micro performances, stand-up comedy, theatrical sketches, etc)
- do (live painting, laboratories/workshops, etc)
All applications will be evaluated and judged unquestionably by the representatives of the Civic Library and the #biblioGIOVANI group on the basis of the quality and appropriateness of the proposal.
Selected candidates will be contacted by telephone to receive confirmation of participation.
BiblioNOTE dates
Every following Thursday:
4-11-18-25 July from 7pm to 10pm
1-8-29 August from 7pm to 10pm
September 5th from 7pm to 10pm
In case of bad weather forecasts the events are cancelled.
During each event the participation of multiple artists/musicians is expected.
General info
Participating in BiblioNOTE means believing in the mission of the project, believing more in its ethical value and not in its economic one, believing that it is aenrichment opportunities for the community.
Starting from this assumption, the Municipality of Legnano will welcome the greatest number of proposals but will guarantee a small reimbursement exclusively to musicians, without making a distinction between professionals and emerging artists.
Each band will receive a compensation of €50.00 for each individual member, up to a total amount of €200.00. For bands made up of more than four members, the amount is always €200.00 total.
The reimbursement will be paid only after the conclusion of the entire review (between October and December) by the Municipal Administration or another appointed body.
All musicians must be independent for the service material (e.g. amplifier, microphone, instruments). Speaker system + mixer and technical assistance for sound check and live will be provided.
SIAE expenses borne by the Municipality of Legnano.
