Mayor Frontini: ‘The city gives credit to young excellence’
VITERBO – Certificate of merit from the mayor Chiara Frontini for the Viterbo area Leonardo Geronzi. The delivery ceremony took place in the presence of the city councilor delegated to the new generations Francesca Pietrangeli and the young engineer’s familywas held in recent days in the board room of Priory palace.
Mayor Frontini, on behalf of the city of Viterbo, wanted to thank Leonardo Geronzi for having distinguished himself in the international biomedical field for his extraordinary talent in having designed an innovative tool for the prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of aortic aneurysm. For the very important result achieved he won the National Innovation Awardlast December 1st, in Milan.
‘The city gives credit to the young excellences like Leonardo – stated the mayor Frontini while handing over the merit recognition -: a boy who is growing and establishing himself from a professional point of view, among other things in a very complex and delicate field such as biomedical research and which he has decided to undertake in innovative start-up sector. I am positive role models which must be supported and made known because often not even we Viterbo people know the values we have.
A recognition that Leonardo Geronzi greatly appreciated it and which he wanted to dedicate to father, recently deceased. Councilor Scardozzi also took part in the ceremony.
