LEGNANO – As is now customary, in the month of June the cultural proposal arrives from the nine parishes of Legnano. It is a billboard that ranges from auteur cinema to theater and music. In the intentions of the organizers, entertainment is never an end in itself, but has a purpose common background is the closeness between people, the involvement of “friends and neighbors”: hence the title “Call friends and neighbors and bring them with you…”, inspired by a verse from Gospel of Luke. The Christian community thus offers the citizens of Legnano and all those who wish to participate a time to experiment and reflect on relationshipsan invitation to look up beyond walls and bell towers so that no one is denied the joy of meeting.
Billboard, tickets and season tickets
It starts on Tuesday 4 June at tent set up at the Santi Magi (via Olmina 16) with the film “Will Hunting. Rebel genius”. Followed by: Saturday 8 June the recital “How would you like me?” (at the Santi Martiri oratory, via Marco Polo 1); Tuesday 11th the film “The Little Yeti”; Tuesday 18th the film “The Theory of Everything”; Saturday 22nd the theater show “Second Orphea. When love works miracles” (in the church of San Giovanni, via Liguria 28); Tuesday 25th the film “There’s Still Tomorrow”; Saturday 29th the show of the Entrata di Sicurezza company “I due corsari” with music by Giorgio Gaber and Enzo Jannacci (at the San Pietro oratory, via Girardi 28). Coming soon: the musical “PT Barnum’s Amazing Show.”
Film screenings start at 8.45pm; at the end of the cineforum, at the end of the first half bar service. Entrance: single screening 2 euros, “There’s Still Tomorrow” 5 euros. Start of shows at 9.00 pm; single evening: under 18, 3 euros; adults, 6 euros. In case of rain the shows will be held inside the oratories.
