LEGNANO – As is now tradition, the nine parishes of Legnano present their cultural proposal for the month of June. This billboard, which embraces auteur cinema, theater And music, is designed to offer entertainment that goes beyond simple entertainment, promoting closeness between people and community involvement. The title chosen for this year, “Call friends and neighbors and bring them with you…”, is inspired by a verse from the Gospel of Luke and reflects the intention to create moments of meeting and reflection on interpersonal relationships, inviting everyone to look beyond social and religious barriers.

Program of events

Activities will begin on Tuesday June 4th at the tent set up at the Santi Magi in via Olmina 16 with the screening of the film “Will Hunting. Rebel genius”. The program will continue with a variety of events including cinema, theater and recitals, offering something for all tastes. Here is the complete calendar:

  • Saturday 8 June: recital “How would you like me?” at the Santi Martiri oratory in via Marco Polo 1.
  • Tuesday 11 June: screening of the film “The Little Yeti”.
  • Tuesday 18 June: screening of the film “The Theory of Everything”.
  • Saturday 22 June: theater show “Second Orphea. When love works miracles” in the church of San Giovanni in via Liguria 28.
  • Tuesday 25 June: screening of the film “There’s Still Tomorrow”.
  • Saturday 29 June: show by the Entrata di Sicurezza company entitled “I due corsari” with music by Giorgio Gaber and Enzo Jannacci at the San Pietro oratory in via Girardi 28.

To follow, the musical “PT Barnum’s Amazing Show”, the dates of which will be announced soon.

Details on tickets and passes

The film screenings will begin at 8.45 pm and will be followed by a film club; during the halftime break, a bar service will be available. Theatrical performances will begin at 9.00 pm. Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Entrance for a single screening: 2 euros.
  • Entrance to the screening of the film “There’s Still Tomorrow”: 5 euros.
  • Entrance to theater shows: 3 euros for under 18s, 6 euros for adults.

In case of rain, the events will be held inside the oratories.

Subscriptions, which include access to four films and two shows, are available for 10 euros for under 18s and 20 euros for adults. Entrance to the recital “How would you like me?” will be free.
