Presented in the “Carlo Collodi” Primary School of San Sisto, the “My Diary” 2024/2025 School Agenda of the State Police. – Perugia Police Headquarters

The State Police in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit and the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, presented the new edition of the school diary “My Diary”, intended to 50,000 students of the future fourth classes of some provinces of the national territory. The school agenda is presented as a teaching support tool in the education of tomorrow’s citizens and aims, through content and simple language, to bring very young citizens closer to the culture of legality, providing a contribution in education to respect rules and values ​​of civil coexistence. To date, the project, now in its 11th edition, has made it possible to reach over 630,000 students from public and private schools. This year the diary will be distributed in the provinces of Agrigento, Alessandria, Avellino, Catanzaro, Cremona, Foggia, Macerata, Parma, Perugia, Prato, Treviso and Trieste. The protagonists of the agenda are the superheroes of legality Vis and Musa who, with the help of their four-legged friends Lampo and Saetta, the parrot Gea and the kitten Cosmo, will accompany the young students during the school year with their adventures through which address the issues of health, sport, care of the environment, social inclusion, road safety education, the correct use of the internet and social networks, but also the most common phenomena of youth deviance, such as bullying and cyberbullying. In addition to the friends of the State Police, among the interpreters there is also the well-known character of children’s literature Geronimo Stilton, which he will offer in turn important contributions of value and entertainment. For the edition dedicated to the 2024-2025 school year, in addition to the themes that have formed the structure of the diary for years, the topics that the Ministry of Education and Merit has included in the programs of the Civic Education subject will be addressed: the Constitution, sustainable development and digital citizenship. From this perspective, “My Diary” can also represent an effective educational complement for teachers and parents and for State Police personnel engaged in legality education activities in the area on a daily basis. The presentation ceremony, in Perugia, was held at the “Carlo Collodi” Primary School of San Sisto, in the presence of the Prefect of the Province of Perugia, Armando Gradone, of the Police Commissioner of the Province of Perugia, Fausto Lamparelli, of the Director of the Office Perugia territorial school Fabrizio Fratini, the Councilor of the Municipality of Perugia, Luca Merli, the school director, Federico Ferri, and the representatives of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza. The diary was delivered to a representation of over 100 students. The Postal Police officers were also present and explained to the children the importance of the conscious use of mobile phones and PCs, warning them against the dangers of the Internet. The Traffic Police personnel, however, set up, inside the gym of the school, a route, also equipped with mobile road signs and a suitable number of pedal mini-karts – made available by the Presidents of ACI Perugia and the Magione Autodrome – with which the young students undertook an educational-educational journey fun, which raised their awareness of the issue of road safety. The event was enriched by an exhibition area, set up in the school courtyard, with the presence of State Police cars, motorbikes and bicycles. The students, enthusiastic about the day, also witnessed the performance of the dog team.
