Castellammare di Stabia. Yesterday, at the Royal Palace of Quisisana, a conference was held on the theme “Justice and the Environment. The beauty that creates community”.
At the invitation of the Regent Director of the Ministry of Justice Dr. Claudia Nannola, the Socio-Cultural Association l’Incrocio delle Idee participated in the interesting conference:
An initiative that spoke, as planned, of a justice that looks at man even before the crime, at the relationship between man and the environment which can precisely generate beauty.
Many qualified interventions underlined how justice must actually speak to the victims and that it must recognize penalties aimed at including and not excluding.
Another priority aspect of the conference is the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Justice and the Italian Federation of Parks and Natural Reserves, their use for testing and therefore for public utility works for perpetrators of crimes.
But there were many interesting connections to illegal activity, to abandoned environments and sites, as well as to the many possibilities of organizing and proposing alternative punishments where conditions permit.
Connection with the Constitutional Charter as well as information on what has been done and how much still needs to be developed for a different legal culture to address the topic.
A role and a task that could also interest the Third Sector in contexts where it finds credibility and above all knowledge on the part of those who govern bodies and institutions for the possible coordination function.
