Modica football, a new adventure begins for the rossoblù

The adventure within the adventure begins for Modica Calcio which can start its playoffs with the aim of reaching that goal dreamed of for an entire season, the jump in category. After a troubled season the team led by Vindigni seems to have found its balance under the technical guidance of Mr. Settineri who, since his arrival, has managed to lead the team to the point of giving it the opportunity to play its cards until the end.

The first big match will see the rossoblu team and Milazzo who beat Jonica 2-1 in the first round and will try to overwhelm the predictions this Sunday. Modica for its part must continue to demonstrate that it is the team seen in the latest outings and make sense of the amount of work put into play in recent months, aiming for two useful results for the passage to the next round.

“It’s not easy to manage a team that has no official commitments for a month, but my balance is positive – declares Settineri – I thank the group for the commitment they have put in up to today, we are aware that tomorrow we are going to face a team who hasn’t lost a match since before the second round, comes from a moment of full exaltation and we know well that this should be considered the match. A new path begins for us and in this challenge we will be able to evaluate the growth and value of this group. I remain very confident because I see in the eyes of the boys the awareness of being a ready team.”

Below is Mr Settineri’s list of players called up for the match against Milazzo on Sunday 26 May at 4pm at the Vincenzo Barone stadium in Modica:
