The Course in Animation and Creative Play Practices at the Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara organizes a new meeting, focused on the communication of the Cultural Heritage of the local area, which has its origins in the Roman workers of Carrara. The project undertakes to enhance and promote an activity linked to the extraction of marble and its transport; placing emphasis on the maritime one and analyzing its change over the centuries. The School of Art Education, during the day of June 5th, will open its doors to a wide public, offering a wide range of activities. The students will welcome him and, through specially created games, they will share ancient knowledge that risks being forgotten, through various creative-playful-educational strategies. “The adventure of the block of marble that reaches from the mountain to the sea” leaves already understand its purpose, that is to make users identify with the history of this tradition, which has always had a fundamental role in the economic-social sphere, bringing the name of the City throughout the world.
