«After the accreditation of RSAs and day centers, regional financial coverage is now needed» – BisceglieLive.it

“We have requested a hearing before the competent council commissions to hear from President Emiliano, the Director of the Health Department, Vito Montanaro and the General Director of the AReSS regarding the financial coverage for the RSAs and Day Centers after the completion of the process for their accreditation.”

This is what the regional councilors of the Action Group Ruggiero Mennea, Fabiano Amati and Sergio Clemente declare.

“In Puglia there are over 400 structures which, in addition to guaranteeing stable employment for over 30,000 workers, provide assistance to tens of thousands of non-self-sufficient and disabled elderly people” – continue the Councilors. “The cancellation of the increases in fees by the TAR makes families breathe a sigh of relief, but it does not solve the problem of the survival capacity of these structures which are of enormous social and health importance, especially in consideration of the increase in average age of the population and the increase in disabling diseases.”

“We need joint action on the part of the Apulian institutions and we are certain that the Presidents of all the council groups will join us to find the right solution to this problem and to give concrete answers to the requests for help from the trade associations”, they conclude the Councilors Mennea, Amati and Clemente”
