In Perugia, on 24 May 2024, almost one hundred children from three primary schools took part in an innovative and educational initiative: ‘Let’s start moving’. Promoted by the Automobile Club of Perugia in collaboration with the Traffic Police and Minimetrò Spa, this project aims to convey the fundamentals of road safety to young students. The children from the primary schools of Case Bruciate, Pestalozzi and Bellocchio reached the center of Perugia using the Minimetrò, then got on pedal karts and traveled along Piazza Italia transformed into a real street, complete with traffic lights and road signs. The entire activity was carried out under the expert guidance of the ACI staff, with the attentive presence of the agents of the Road and Local Police of Perugia.
