In particular, “the need for close institutional interaction between the Municipality and the socio-health district was underlined, both of which are called upon to play a responsible role in improving socio-health services in the area and in dealing with the significant increase in citizens’ needs, with particular reference to elderly people and those with chronic-degenerative pathologies. Tangible examples of what has been stated are certainly found in the creation of the Community House, which has been awaited for years, in the strengthening of home care, in the implementation of telemedicine as well as in the development of healthcare processes. socio-health integration”. Battistini addressed the topic of municipal social services, highlighting “lights and shadows with particular reference to the figure of the neighborhood social-health worker and the social worker and underlining the need for their integration with home health care professionals” .

The program list includes multiple proposals aimed at generating a network of aid and support that counteract the negative effects of this fragility. Some examples are represented by digital literacy and implementation, co-housing, assisted mobility, greater accessibility to health, social and health services, smart cities, greater safety, family volunteering. and proximity. All these aspects, however multifaceted and transversal, have in common the search for a global response to fragility and disability”.
