A dream that began in 1973 and last year, a magical edition, to celebrate 50 years of the most beautiful festival in the world. Now everything is ready for the 2024 edition. In fact, to the delight of all fans of great music, the appointment with Umbria Jazzscheduled in Perugia from 12 to 21 July 2024.

Umbria Jazz it is the festival in which the entire city is transformed into an immense open-air stage. AND Radio Monte Carlo is its beating heart. The Italian radio of the Principality of Monaco is the official radio of the Festival for the fifth year, thanks to the three-year renewal of the important media partnership agreement signed last year with the Umbria Jazz Foundation.

The past edition from the elegant location on Vannucci Course everyone passed: representatives of the institutions, beyond 70 artists – from the most high-sounding names to the exponents of the emerging jazz scene – together with the numerous listeners who had the opportunity to meet and finally see the hosts of their favorite radio station at work.

And the team that wins does not change: from 12 to 21 July, in fact, always from special location in Corso Vannucci, Radio Monte Carlo will give all listeners, those present and those throughout Italy, a truly exciting experience thanks to the live programs and interviews that will take place throughout the Festival period.

The stories and interviews of Rosaria Renna and Filippo Firli in “Two Like Us”, by Isabella Eleodori and Alberto Davoli in “Happy Together”, Of Chiara Lorenzutti in “C’est la vie”, Of Tamara Donà and Giancarlo Cattaneo in “Take it easy” and of Nick the Nightfly in his famous program “Monte Carlo Nights” are precisely aimed at involving the listener, making him fully enjoy the uniqueness of the event.

All for a total of more 120 hours of live broadcast.

To best celebrate this important collaboration, Radio Monte Carlo has launched a series of editorial and other initiatives to promote the event through press, billboard, TV, radio and digital communications.

Through a rich and complex approach path both on air and on the broadcaster’s digital and social channels, Radio Monte Carlo will begin to promote the event in the Umbrian capital during its programs from the end of May, recounting its most evocative and curious aspects and offering its listeners the opportunity to take part in the numerous scheduled concerts.

The partnership is in fact an opportunity to tell, through the voices of Radio Monte Carlo, Umbria Jazz 2024 in all its nuances, with the help of the website (radiomontecarlo.net) and the broadcaster’s social channels.
