Depth of field, meetings around photography: guest Francesco Levy

Saturday 25 May at 5pm at the Fattori Museum for “Depth of field. Meetings around photography” will be the protagonist Francesco Levy with “Time maps. Archive and memory”.

The event is an opportunity to get to know one of the most interesting and talented emerging photographers on the Italian scene. Born in Livorno, he has made a name for himself on the contemporary scene by winning some prizes, such as the Art Tracker prize of the Combat Prize and being a finalist in the Premio Celeste. Furthermore, in 2019 it was included by Exibart in the “222. Young artists to invest in”

Born in 1990, after graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, he completed the three-year photography course at the Studio Marangoni Foundation in Florence. Since 2017 she has exhibited in festivals, collective and personal exhibitions. In 2018 she developed the project Random Notes for Necessary Urban Planning, as part of a residency for the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris. In 2020 she published her first book Azimuths Celestial Bodies, while in 2022 she participated in the collective exhibition Eyes on Tomorrow, organized at the Italian Cultural Institute in Addis Ababa.
