Livorno – During the evening at Goldoni, in which the project was presented to the city Andrea Locatelli to buy Livorno, several protagonists of history and in general close to the amaranth environment and the team intervened. Among those present also the current honorary president of Livorno and president of the Magnozzi Club, Enrico Fernandez Africanowho was able to answer some questions posed to him by the representatives of the Curva Nord present at the initiative.

The first question concerned the indiscretion that came out in the press according to which Fernandez had asked Esciua to be able to take over a share of the company (around 20% ed.): “I months ago when I saw that things weren’t going since I’m more of a lover than anyone else of Livorno, I told Joel to give me a share of Livorno, we did not specify the exact share. I made this proposal to him to try to get closer to him and also find a dialogue between the athletes and him. I couldn’t do it and he didn’t give it to me, I don’t know the reason”.

Regarding the issue of the nominal brand, Fernandez did not go into details and underlined once again his loyalty to Livorno first of all: “When I bought it I gave it to Magnozzi and the brand is linked to the contract that Toccafondi sold in Esciua. “This brand situation needs to be studied very thoroughly, some say that I signed, but that’s not true. The brand is under discussion for the moment, it could be Joel’s because the contract provided for a 3-year continuation, but we are studying and will resolve the issue for the best. I support and am for Livorno, I am neither for Joel nor for anyone else.”
