All that was missing was the Venetian derby between Vicenza and Padua to complete the picture of the first leg matches of the second national round of the Serie C playoffsor if you prefer the quarter-finals of the play-offs for promotion to B: match postponed for 24 hours due to the storms that have hit the region in recent days. Qualification will be decided at return, scheduled for Saturday 25 May at Padova. In that circumstance, a victory with a two-goal difference, with any result, will be enough for the Biancoscudati to advance. There will be no extra time or penalties. Vicenza, however, will be able to defend their two-goal lead: in the semi-final the winner will find one between Catania and Avellino (1-0 for the Etna in the first leg at Massimino). The other two challenges pit Juventus Next Gen and Carrarese against each other (1-1 in Alessandria in the first leg) e Benevento-Torres (1-0 for the Samnites in the first match at Vigorito).
