The National Historical Museum of the Alpini of Trento and the Mausoleum Shrine of Cesare Battisti were the first stages of school trip of two days in significant places in the history of the Alpine Corps featuring i 29 boys winners of the competition established by regional law n°19/2020 on “Recognition of the solidarity and sacrifice of the Alpine troops”, now in its second edition this year.

The visiting students, accompanied on the occasion by some teachers, belong to the schools Mario Borsa di Somaglia (LO), CFP Canossa di Brescia, Maironi di Ponte Presezzo (BG), Gaetano Cantoni di Treviglio (BG) and Cesare Battisti di Lovere (BG).

In the afternoon they will visit the Buonconsiglio Castle in the heart of the Trentino capital and the Eagle Tower, built in the 13th century as part of the city’s defense system; the visit will follow Vanga Tower.

Julian Terzi of the National boarding school “Cesare Battisti” of Lovere (BG) had obtained the first prize in the individual section reserved for lower secondary schools with a graphic and textual project on the Julia Brigade. Between secondary schoolsTheindividual first prize had been assigned to Andrea Giuliano of theState Agricultural Institute “Gaetano Cantoni” of Treviglio (BG) with a multimedia story of the Alpine troops and their values.

In the section of group first prize to“Mario Borsa” Institute of Somaglia (LO) with a “video comic” on the history of the Black Feathers between past and future. The students who contributed to this work were: Lina Ahmed Abdalla Mohamed Kandil, Margherita Cerri, Vittorio Cuccu, Elisa Orlandini, Mattia Monticelli, Giole Zuncheddu, Mattia Negri, Sofia Vagliani and Gaia Vicini.

To the second place there ENAC Lombardy CFP “Canossa” Foundation of Brescia with a video on the values ​​of solidarity of the Alpine troops. The students involved were: Diego Gabriele Ara, Nicolò Baresi, Jacpo Bossoni, Daniel Cacisi, Filippo Cascino, Imana Dabre, Greta Daminelli, Jacopo Diana, Matteo Andrea di Benedetto, Yussef El Gharbawy, Byasmala Elhamaky Elsayed Elham Elzeky, Sergio Ferrari, Ronalson Gallo, Simona Gazin, Sara Maffei, Matteo Mondini, Alessio Nicolini, Loris Narciso Scotuzzi, Francesca Spinelli Andrea Vetere and Lorenzo Zanardelli.

The first place winner was awarded a cash prize of 2,500 euros, while the second place winner received a cash prize of 1,500 euros.
