From San Michele to Acqualadroni the initiative involves the whole city
MESSINA – Old ATM shelters redeveloped. The company announces: “The first redeveloped shelter has found a “home” at the San Michele terminus. The installation activity started yesterday, while today, in the presence of the deputy mayor Salvatore Mondello and the president of the Messina Transport Company Giuseppe Campagna, the regenerated shelter was placed in Cumia. There the pre-existing one was removed to undergo restyling. In the next few days, the redeveloped shelters will be gradually positioned throughout the municipal territory. Thursday 23rd will be the turn of Marmora and within the next week it will be the turn of the hamlet of Acqualadroni.
“Let’s improve the face of the city”
Deputy Mayor Mondello underlines: “The modernization plan is the result of the daily work of the municipal administration in synergy with ATM to improve the face of the city. The restyling activity continues and is affecting the entire municipal area, from the center to the suburbs. Changing the city for the better is possible, with our commitment but also with the collaboration of the entire city community” –
President Campagna states in turn. “We are keeping the promise we made to the city to modernize the old and worn shelters. We know how important these facilities are for citizens waiting for the bus. We hope that the people of Messina can take care of it. In the next few days the installation work of the shelters redeveloped by a company from Messina will concern all areas”.
