Sennori Music and promotion of the territory go together Saturday 25 May to Sennori: on the natural terrace of the former tuff quarry, overlooking the Gulf of Asinaragive her 5pm to 11pm the evening event will be held “Jetlag Open Air”outdoor electronic music with the best local DJs, organized by Jetlag in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Sennori and the patronage ofmunicipal administration. The aim of the evening is not just to make music and entertain young and old: with the event we want to promote the area, enhancing natural sites, also proposing them as places to welcome culture and shows.

The organizers have paid particular attention to the setup in the former quarry: spectators who purchase a ticket for the evening will be welcomed by a scenography with plays of light, and a physical reproduction of an airplane will be positioned in the center of the site, where they will alternate the artists who will perform. There will also be refreshment points and bars, and the entire event will be filmed and reproduced on the official Jetlag channels with live social media coverage during sunset.

The artists will perform Fois (DJ set), Federico Bonetti (Dj + live percussion), Musta and GBass (Vinyl DJ set and live bassist). Tickets for the event can be purchased online on the portal XCEED. To reach the former quarry from Sassaria bus will be activated which will depart from via Pirandello to reach via Zadar to Sennori and then return to the capital at the end of the evening in complete safety.

«Our goal is to demonstrate that music has no borders, through this we can also enhance the natural, artistic and architectural heritage of our wonderful island», he explains Gigi Carbini, DJ and organizer of the event. «The first time we met the former Sennori quarry we fell in love with its history, characteristics and view of the Gulf of Asinara. We thought it would be suggestive to help people discover the quarry and other natural places in Sardinia through our music, and we decided that linking electronic sounds to that panorama was absolutely something to do.”

The Municipality has embraced the project: «The site of the former Quarry is a natural amphitheater that lends itself to hosting this type of event», comments the mayor, Nicola Sassu. «The appointment with Jetlag Open Air is aimed at a wide audience, not just young people, and the organizers together with the Pro Loco have developed every single detail with the utmost attention to guarantee the safety of an event that will lead to Sennori many people”.

«It is a very interesting project, which wants to send a message to young people: music is entertainment, it is culture, it is sociality; and all this can be done by enhancing the territory, in enchanting places like our former quarry, and it can be done safely”, concludes the city councilor with responsibility for Culture, Tourism and Productive Activities, Elena Cornalis.
