3 MEN AND 3 WOMEN REPORTED

Young people between the ages of 22 and 30 were notified of the Notice of Conclusions of the Preliminary Investigations

In March last year, following a report to 113 received at night, State Police officers intervened in this Via Gravina to break up a fight in progress. Once on site, the operators of the Flying Squad and the Flying Squad found a boy with a face full of blood and, nearby, two other men and three women who were fighting each other. With no small difficulty, the officers managed to separate the litigants, then requesting the intervention of medical personnel.

From the reconstruction of the facts carried out immediately, with the qualified intervention of the specialists of the Flying Squad, it emerged that they were factions, the first of which was composed of a couple, the second instead of two couples, all of young people aged between aged 22 to 30, residents of Matera, Ferrandina and Gravina in Puglia.

The versions of the two groups on the causes of the friction were partly divergent; in any case, a previous contact would have occurred by chance, a few hours earlier, in via Dante, and an initial scuffle would have resulted, which then culminated in the fight which took place in via Gravina, quelled by the intervention of the State Police agents.

Two of the young people who came to blows had to seek medical attention. The six were all reported to the judicial authorities. In recent days, the alleged protagonists of the brawl have been notified of the conclusion of the preliminary investigations issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Matera.
