The two-day program is rich and varied and includes fire shows and fakirism, dance, theater and aerial acrobatics which this year will also be enriched with musical moments dedicated to the youngest and designed to involve and experience the area in a more contemporary way. In fact, he will be the great protagonist of the evening of Saturday 25 May the bandLuciano Ligabue’s tribute band, which will perform in Piazza Dante di Dario.

The key moment of the festival will, however, be the imposing one historical parade which, on Sunday 26 May, will cross the streets of the city centre, creating a unique atmosphere with music, songs and dances of the period. The procession, animated by the participation of Ruvo citizens and delegations of re-enactment groups from Altamura, Fasano, Bitonto And Leccewill not simply retrace the historical events of 1799 but will also pay homage to the protagonists of the Ruvo revolutionthus offering a lively and engaging history lesson.

The event, edited by Culture and Memory Study Center of Ruvo di Puglia and supported by the Municipality of Ruvo di Puglia, the Regional Council of Puglia, the Bari Chamber of Commerce, the Puglia Foundation and the Pro Loco UNPLI Ruvo di Puglia APS, will be completely free.
