for 930 years in the heart of the Trani people, an exhibition dedicated to St. Nicholas the pilgrim

On the occasion of the 930th anniversary of his arrival in Trani and his ascent to heaven, in honor of the patron saint Nicholas the Pilgrim, the brotherhood of the same name organizes an exhibition about the domestic devotion that the faithful pay towards their patron saint. Sculptures of all types and materials that belong to the family will be exhibited there. The aim is to raise awareness of the cult through what artists have created with their own hands, over the centuries. A healthy example is given by one of the many families protagonists of the exhibition. Since 1895, from generation to generation, each family member has been invited to make the sign of the cross when passing in front of the image of the Patron Saint, displayed in the center of the central staircase of their Palace. Each day begins with entrusting oneself to the saint of mercy to ask for help, to entrust oneself and to put oneself in the hands of a powerful intercessor before God.
Appointment on Monday 20 May in the Cathedral. 7pm. Solemn Eucharistic celebration; 8.00pm Blessing of the exhibition of statues and bells depicting our Patron Saint.
Invitation extended to all citizens
