There’s just over a month left until the big date iTEGthe event dedicated to Food and Wine Tourism and Hospitality which on 19 and 20 June will open the doors of the Circolo Cittadino of Lecce to experts, professionals, sector operators and companies.
At the center is the high level training of the entire sector with panels, masterclasses and workshops held by high profile speakers: iTALK, iCLASS, iTABLE, iNETworking, Salotto degli Autori, iEXP, iSKILL, iLAB, panels including TEG & Unconventional TEG, Hospitality, Incoming & Export, Wellness & Health, Community & Target. And again, panels for networks, the economy, excellence, sustainability and inclusion and there will be a slot dedicated to gender equality and women in tourism. Meetings dedicated to the T.EG will follow. and Hospitality with a particular focus on the essence of communities, the true protagonists of the territories.

AND Paola Puzzovio the creator of the event and the founder and manager of TEGing, a project created in 2020 which systematizes the supply chains for a quality tourist offer. One of the objectives of TEGing is iTEG, which on 19 and 20 June will be in Lecce for its fourth edition in the historic building of the Circolo Cittadino, set up for the occasion, thanks to Mqallestimenti and Studio Lagna, with meticulous attention to the sustainability of the materials and respect for the historicity of the environments. Alongside Paola Puzzovio, then, the scientific committee formed by Carmen Bizzarri, Concetta D’Emma, ​​Cristina Mascanzoni Kaiser, Josè Maria De Juan Alonso and Giacomo Miola.

An important activity of iTEG is training for the purposes of improvement and specialized training for professionals and for the upgrading of professionals. Of note: the masterclass in collaboration with Italian Travel Press for specialized communication for the TEG for which 3 training credits are recognized by the ODG; the iCLASS for accommodation facilities with Vivere di Turismo and the events for companies including the one on 20/6 in partnership with Carofalo Assicurazioni.

An important novelty this year, then, is the Green Factor Challengean event organized for iTEG by Concetta D’Emma as 1st Representative of Green Destinations for Italy: a workshop in challenge mode that aims to discover a more responsible and inclusive storytelling, which also involves networks, with the aim main goal of selecting the first Apulian excellences to bring as success stories at an international level to the next ‘Top 100 Stories Awards’.
Another opportunity for professionals and companies is the iSKILL, 3 minutes of time to introduce yourself and reference yourself and finally contribute to the edition of the iSKILL Book, a tool through which, after the event, the match of supply and demand between workers and employers will begin profiles.

On the sidelines, many engaging events: among these, the tasting in the dark, on the 18th evening before the event, coordinated by Luca Boccoli with a combined dinner at the L’ombra del Barocco restaurant, some paid tickets available and the musical event on the 19th , piano and sax, in the Salone degli Specchi, thanks to the collaboration with the “Tito Schipa” Conservatory of Lecce, combined with Spirits with the sommeliers of AIS and the sommelier Silvia Ferrari and the tastings of Catamo Catering, to enhance the sound and taste through the musical and alcoholic scale that will go hand in hand.
